They came as common pooches, but they'll leave as Fiesta canine royalty! The San Antonio Humane Society is coming together again this Fiesta to celebrate the city’s most festive fundraising pooches during the annual El Rey Fido Coronation—and you and your dog are invited!
Join us Saturday, April 21 at the Sheraton Gunter Hotel San Antonio as we celebrate the fantastic fundraising efforts of El Rey Fido XVI and the 2018 El Rey Fido Royal Court!
The event is the culmination of months of vigorous fundraising by local dogs and their human companions. Each year’s top fundraising dog is crowned El Rey Fido with four runner-ups joining the Royal Court. This year’s participants raised over $50,000 for the pets at the San Antonio Humane Society and if that’s not reason enough to join us for the celebration, then come for the talented Danzavida De San Antonio Dance Company, the velvety and sequined Royal Grr-robes, and the crowning of El Rey Fido by Rey Feo--all emceed by Magic 105.3's Adam and Jenny!
