Our Family Reads: The Mayor’s Book Club was created by Mayor Ron Nirenberg to encourage families in the community to read along with him and members of City Council about some of their favorite topics, and to cultivate a community experience.

Just like books, airplanes have the power to take you places near and far. This month, share in Councilman Treviño's love of flying with books for all ages about airplanes.
Families are invited to celebrate with free family-friendly activities like story time with pilots, DIY paper and straw airplanes, cloud painting, and more.
A docent from the Texas Air Museum at Stinson Airport will present a program about the Stinson family and Katherine Stinson, the 4th licensed family pilot in the U.S.
