Train Rides- Texas Transportation Museum
*The event has already taken place on this date: Sun, 12/26/2021
The Texas Transportation Museum is open! Please come by to walk though our many exhibits and take a train ride! TTM's private rail line was built and maintained by volunteers. Your train ride begins at our historic southern pacific depot, proceeding 1/2 of a mile to our rail supply yard and the new town of Wallaceville before returning. The round trip is 10-15 mins, making it perfect for the kids. We maintain and rotate between a U.S. Army 1954 RS-4, U.S. Airforce 1941 GE 45 tonner, and a 1925 Baldwin 0-4-0 steam engine. Passengers can ride on our 1937 Missouri Pacific flat car and Missouri Pacific caboose.
