Walk With Nature/ Talk With the Ranger

As John Muir said “In every walk with Nature one receives far more than he seeks.” Join us on our guided nature walk, exploring the diversity of the Hill Country.

Come to teach or learn about nature in the Hill Country. Two mornings every month we will walk and talk and explore a different nature theme along an easy/ moderate and  beautiful trail.

• February--- Late Winter Signs of Spring 
• March--- Early Spring Blooms   
• April ---  Trees, shrubs and Agaves of the Hill Country

  May--  Creek-side walk and Riparian Plants

  1. Wear sensible shoes, layered clothing and a hat or cap. 
  2. Bring field books, cameras, and water and a friend. 
  3. Arrive early enough to register before 10 o'clock start time.
  4. Day-use entry fees apply. Bring a picnic and stay all day on your own!
  5. RSVP always appreciated.
