Aires Above Ground Presents: The Backbone of Night

Join Aires Above Ground at the Scobee Education Center on the campus of San Antonio College for an evening celebrating the night sky and the work being done by the International Dark-Sky Association.

There will be world premieres of new, contemporary classical music by local composer Dan Cook; a showing of the award-winning documentary The City Dark by Ian Cheney; artwork available from the Design Director of the Voyager Golden Record, Jon Lomberg; astrophotography by SKYGLOW Project; informational displays from the International Dark-Sky Association; and curated treats from Tim The Girl catering. Proceeds from this event go to help support the Texas Chapter of the International Dark-Sky Association.
