Bilingual Bird Walk with Las Pajareras and Latino Outdoors

Join Latino Outdoors, Las Pajareras, and Mitchell Lake Audubon Center for a special bilingual bird walk in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month! Start the morning with tacos, pan dulce, and bird friendly coffee for our early birds, then set out on the trails at 8:30am for a relaxed walk through several habitats at Mitchell Lake, learning the English and Spanish names of birds you spot along the way.

This event is designed for everyone, whether it’s your very first bird walk or your hundredth! Come as you are: binoculars will be available to borrow, no prior experience needed, just a sense of curiosity and community. Guests must be at least 15 years old to participate, and everyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
