Kick off your boots and draw with us. Youth and Family Programs Manager Britt McDermott will lead participants in a fun, relaxing drawing activity called “Zentangle,” using patterns found in museum artifacts. Take inspiration from repetitive and iconic symbolism in Nudie Cohn and Manuel costumes, features in museum architecture, and details in poster art featured in Outlaws and Armadillos: Country’s Roaring ‘70s. No artistic experience necessary—just bring your imagination. Recommended for ages seven and up, but all are welcome. Guardian is required to be present for children under thirteen.
Takes place via Zoom. Space is limited. Registration required. Free. Registration closes at 9:00 a.m. the morning of the program.
