Gymnastics of San Antonio Reopening June 1st!

We love our community and want to do all that we can to support our local government in their effort to keep San Antonio healthy. As business owners we feel that it is our responsibility to ask not what is best for us and our business but what is best for our community and our GOSA families. Based on the information provided by the San Antonio Health Transition Team, we have decided to wait until June 1st to begin reopening our facility. Doing so will allow more time for our community to see a sustained decline in the number of new COVID cases while also allowing us to plan for social distancing, adjustments to our gymnastics training protocols and thorough disinfecting of the facility and equipment.
When we welcome you back to our facility, we will have cleaning systems and a series of protocols in place that meet CDC COVID19 guidelines. Our facility will be cleaned and reorganized to meet the new guidelines and safety protocols. We have carefully chosen an EPA-approved disinfectant that is both recommended for use against COVID-19 and is ideal for use in facilities that serve children. This product is also currently being used by major airlines in between flights as a disinfectant.
Due to social distancing and capacity restrictions, we will open in two phases.
Phase One (to begin Monday, June 1st):
- Recreational Classes Resume for Ages 3 & Up
- Pre-Team Workouts Resume
- Team Workouts Resume
- Summer Camp will begin June 8th
Phase Two (TBD):
- Parent Involvement Classes Resume
- Open Workout and Open Playtime Resume
- Birthday Parties & Parents’ Night Out Events Resume
We will continue to meet with our reopening committee over the next few days and will release our cleaning plan and safety protocols early next week.
