The EV3 Robo Kinetics camp will take young engineers on a journey through history inspiring them to dream up ideas that could improve modern life . Going back to 400 BC we challenge students, to create a catapult, using EV3 sensors and microcontrollers that they program. Moving to the 17th Century, campers build and program Rembrandt, a robotic device that allows students to create cool drawings. Other challenging builds include a paper airplane launcher, a stair climber as well as game bots, to name a few. Students will master sensor, microcontroller and manipulator programming. While building and programming intricately designed robot models, students learn how math, physics and extraordinary machines can bring exciting goals within reach.
