Monarch Butterfly and Pollinator Festival | Kids Out and About San Antonio

Monarch Butterfly and Pollinator Festival

Get your wings on for our fourth annual celebration of butterflies, bats, bees and other pollinators in a day of family fun at the Historic Pearl.

The Festival features a People for Pollinators Parade (costumes encouraged!), the chance to tag monarch butterflies with trained docents, educational booths, pollinator gardening plants and education, art installations, the HEB flower wall, and interactive learning activities for the whole family.

At noon, we'll debut San Antonio's first-ever specially commissioned Waggle Dance. Don't miss this chance to shake your booty and learn how bees communicate.

Oh, and it's FREE.

We can't wait to see you at this engaging event where citizen science, nature, and learning meet nature-loving fun during the peak monarch butterfly migration season here in the Texas Funnel.

See you there!
