Power to the Parent: Dyslexia 101 ** VIRTUAL**At The DoSeum
*The event has already taken place on this date: Thu, 12/03/2020
Did you know that one in five children who cross the school threshold every day have dyslexia, diagnosed or not! Dyslexia also does not discriminate by gender, race, creed, etc. This fall The DoSeum is excited to present Beautiful Minds: Dyslexia and the Creative Advantage.
Join us for a conversation with Jasmin Dean, Executive Director of Celebrate Dyslexia on Thursday, December 3rd. Aiming to share experiences and information with caregivers, this program will allow participants to hear directly from Jasmin in a personal sense, as a parent of children with dyslexia, and her professional expertise in community education. During this virtual session, Jasmin will share information and experiences about dyslexia and how it affects each one of us and answer questions from our participants.
Participation is free and requires pre-registration. A secure link will be shared 24-hours before the event. Please note this conversation may be recorded and made available via email to registered participants following the event.
