This 3 day class will show students how to be successful in the classroom and throughout their academic journey and is comprised of topics specifically tailored to students in high school: organization and time-management, maximizing classroom learning, note-taking, test preparation, and subject test taking (note: this class DOES NOT cover standardized testing like the SAT or ACT). Group exercises will center on establishing effective habits that will expand learning and minimize stress.

Whether you are planning to take AP English Language and Composition or AP English Literature and Composition, this is the introductory course for you! Both classes have a very similar test at the end of the year, and the skills required to excel at either exam are the same. Both the breadth of AP Lang and the depth of AP Lit will be discussed.
