Students will learn how to develop a 2D platformer game! They will be able to program the game logic, add music, levels, and customize the game sprites.
Inspired by Pixar, Walt Disney, and DreamWorks, this camp will explore the methods used in these animations studios and apply them to make our own animations
Students learn the principles of robotics and hardware while experience the excitement of designing, building, programming and controlling their own Battle-bot.
Students will be introduced to basic flight mechanics, aerodynamic principles to understand how to fly a drone and basic python to create flying patterns that can be uploaded to the drone. They will develop critical analysis and quick decision-making skills, while maneuvering through obstacle courses.
Students will learn the fundamentals of hardware and software manipulation by building circuits using Makey Makey. After becoming familiar with the fundamentals of electrical engineering, students will develop games that will be played with and by other students.
Through building a city, zoo, or an amusement park in the Minecraft World, students will practice team collaboration, engineering design processes, mathematical concepts, and project management.
Students will create a multiplayer game where players compete to be the last player remaining! A great way to learn core concepts in game design and computer science.
