Kids across the country are invited to make a movie to submit to the 90-Second Newbery Film Festival, a fun, annual national video contest in which kid filmmakers create short movies that tell the entire stories of Newbery-winning books in about 90 seconds. Creative twists are encouraged! These kid-made movies are featured at live screenings all over the country attended by hundreds—in New York City, Chicago, San Francisco, Boston, San Antonio, Rochester, and many other cities! These free events combine screenings of the movies with live Newbery-themed entertainment, co-hosted by festival Founder James Kennedy, author of YA book The Order of Odd-Fish and other books, and a local author who writes kids' or young adult books.

Join us for a day-long of filming, video editing, and learning the fundamentals of claymation. Students get to present their final movie at the end of class! This is a great camp for creative-minded students.

Students during this camp work with software to create customized blocks, armor, and biomes.

During this one-day camp, students will learn art appreciation, and the making of art using the environment of Minecraft.

Students will learn the fundamentals of hardware and software manipulation by building circuits using Makey Makey. After becoming familiar with the fundamentals of electrical engineering, students will develop games that will be played with and by other students.

Students learn the principles of robotics and hardware while experience the excitement of designing, building, programming and controlling their own Battle-bot.

Students will learn how to develop a 2D platformer game! They will be able to program the game logic, add music, levels, and customize the game sprites.
