The San Antonio Juneteenth Commission Presents:
2026 Juneteenth Prayer Breakfast
I would like to invite you to support the 4th annual San Antonio Juneteenth Prayer Breakfast presented by the San Antonio Juneteenth Commission and Methodist Healthcare Ministries. This special event will take place on Saturday, June 13th at 9:00 a.m. at the Witte Museum’s Dobson Hall and kicks off the official 2026 Juneteenth Festivities.
For two decades, the Juneteenth Commission has hosted the Juneteenth Celebration to honor and celebrate the emancipation of Black people in Texas. The Commission is committed to supporting, uplifting, and empowering the San Antonio community, including nonprofit and community-based organizations, to advance equity in achieving the American dream. Volunteers and community organizers have helped the Juneteenth Festival grow to be a favorite family and community celebration.
The inaugural Prayer Breakfast in 2023 was successful in bringing together a diverse collection of voices and experiences in reflection of the faith-community’s unique role in advancing the freedoms that the Juneteenth holiday symbolizes. This year, we will host the event again in hopes of sustaining an important tradition in our country --- this year's theme: What should the church role be in Partisan Politics?
Individual tickets to the Prayer Breakfast are available for $55. Tables with seats of 10 are also available for $750. Corporate sponsorship, which will include logo placement on event materials and signage, website, and social media recognitions, are also available for $1,000.
Your support of the San Antonio Juneteenth Commission is great appreciated.
Thank You,
Byron E. Miller,
Juneteenth Commissioner
