The Artemis Academy is a two-phase STEM program that begins with three afterschool virtual STEM club meetings on Wednesday, March 26th, April 23rd, and May 28th. Each of these programs will introduce our campers to exceptional STEM professionals from the Astra Femina organization who will share insights into their respective professions and emphasize the skills needed to be successful in their careers. The virtual speaker for March 28th will be Sr. Program Director for the International Space Station, Dr. Liz Warren.
The weeklong in-person summer camp will take place July 14th through July 18th, 2025, from 9:00am to 4:00pm at the Scobee Education Center at San Antonio College. In addition to Challenger mission and planetarium programs, hands-on, engaging activities that are designed to promote problem-solving, and teamwork will be presented by Scobee’s team of educators and special guests.
This camp is sponsored, in part, by the Alamo Chapter of AFCEA to reduce the fees required for attendance.
Only 2 spots are available for this unique STEM camp, so do not wait too long to submit your registration! Registration is $50 per camper and may be found online at: https://tinyurl.com/ArtemisAcademy25
