Baby Day- San Antonio

Baby Day is the only statewide celebration of the first three years of life.
A day to promote bonding and delight between caregivers and children, Baby Day was created as a day to celebrate the extraordinary period of growth and development infants and toddlers experience within the first three years of life. Each year First3Years partners with like-minded agencies across the state to host a day of bonding and delight between caregivers and children. Baby Day activities are tailored for infants and toddlers from ages 0-3 and range from infant yoga to music classes to dancing, curated art, storytime and more.

Baby Day Activities Include:
- Baby Times: story times for infants 0-18 months and their families
- Toddler Times: story times for toddlers 18-36 months and their families
- Big Blue Blocks and more: a space for play and exploration on the floor with babies
- Family Reading Tents: lovely little spaces designed for cozy book-sharing
- Toddler-friendly performances by individual musicians from the San Antonio Symphony
- Music making opportunities
- Shine and Shadow Space: a delightfully barely-dark zone for noticing light and shape
- Babywearing Dancers of San Antonio performance
- The Literacy Caravan: activities in a mobile classroom for older siblings with parents

*Parking in the Central Library garage is free for 2 hours and 59 minutes with a validated ticket.*
