Boerne Family Fishing Tournament

The tournament is held each year on the first Saturday in June, which is also Free Fishing Day in Texas when adults don't need a license to put a hook in the water. That means adults fishing in this tournament are not required to carry a fishing license.
The day kicks off with a morning check in followed by a pre-fishing meeting for all the participants. Fishing gets started shortly after that with the final weigh-in coming before noon. That's when we find out who has the biggest catches of the day and hand out trophies and raffle prizes!
