Boy Scout Badge Day: Environmental Science Tour | Kids Out and About San Antonio

Boy Scout Badge Day: Environmental Science Tour

*The event has already taken place on this date: Sun, 06/25/2017
Join us for exciting science and nature programs planned just for Boy Scouts.

Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.
The Boy Scout Environmental Science program will help scouts understand the importance of critical habitats, with an up close look at the San Marcos Springs. Scouts will explore various environmental science concepts while learning about the endangered species of Spring Lake. This program is inspired by the Environmental Science Merit Badge, but is not an official badge program and does not meet all badge requirements. It is the responsibility of the troop leader to check current Boy Scouts of America's current badge requirements and have scouts complete the remainder of the program in accordance with them.

Check-in begins at 9:30am at The Meadows Center ticket kiosk. Pre-registration is required and space is limited. Tickets are $12/person; children 2 and under are free. Each scout will get a glass-bottom boat patch.
