6-7pm, Trick-or-Treating on the River Walk at participating businesses (start at Briscoe Western Art Museum)
6:30-7:15pm, Costume Contest Registration (in La Villita)
7:30-8:15pm, Costume Contest sponsored by Dick's Last Resort (Arneson River Theatre)
8-9:30pm, River Parade (2 laps in downtown River Walk area & Arneson Theatre)
the River Walk featuring a wicked costume contest ($500- 1st place, $350- 2nd place, $150- 3rd place), enchanting music & an eerie river parade!
Costume contest registration 6:30-7:15 PM. Costume contest 7:30-8:00 PM. Parade 8:00-9:30 PM (2 laps around downtown)
BUD LIGHT HalloweenFest
Professionally decorated floats with costumed participants travel along the 2 1/2 mile Downtown River Walk area. This is a popular event so come early. Ninety people participated in the costume contest in 2015. Bring your A-game to win! Please wear a family-friendly costume. The parade will make 2 laps around the River Walk, beginning at the International Building traveling through Restaurant Row, the horseshoe bend, the River Walk Extension, Rivercenter Mall and through Arneson River Theatre.
Please check this website the day of and preceding the event to determine if the event will be cancelled due to inclement weather creating an unsafe condition for the public or parade riders.
After Bud Light Halloween Fest ends all the bars and restaurants keep the party going! Please drink responsibly. Arrange for a designated driver in advance or book a hotel room.
