Game Builder : Creating with Construct 3

Game Builder: Creating with Construct 3 (3-Day Camp) Unlock the art and science of game development in this exciting 3-day immersive coding camp! Campers step behind the scenes to transform from passive players into active creators, using Construct 3—a powerful, industry-standard 2D game engine—to bring their digital worlds to life. Across three action-packed days, students will learn the core fundamentals of game mechanics, event-driven block logic, character animation, and level design. Day by day, campers will tackle hands-on projects that start small and grow exponentially as their coding skills expand. They will build player controls, design custom physics and collision rules, program enemy AI, and code scoring and power-up systems. As they test, debug, and refine multi-level games alongside their peers, campers develop critical thinking, spatial awareness, and systemic problem-solving skills in a high-energy, collaborative studio environment. By the end of the camp, students will have created a portfolio of custom, fully playable games to share with family and friends—and they'll leave with the unforgettable realization that making games is even more fun than playing them!
