Activities include drumming and blessing by the Tehuan Band of Mission Indians, making god’s eyes, coloring, beading, and of course the chance to meet and learn from the descendants of our founding families. Music will be provided by E3 and food for purchase will be available from popular downtown food trucks. Explore the arts and history of the many cultures of this area, who have lived here for at least 12,000 years.
Main Plaza Conservancy is honored to partner with local heritage organizations Bexar County, Casa Navarro, San Antonio River Authority, the Spanish Governor’s Palace, The Tehuan Band of Mission Indians, the San Antonio Mission Indian Descendants, The American Indians of Texas at the San Antonio Missions and the National Parks Service-San Antonio Missions and the Downtown Food Truck Association.
