*The event has already taken place on this date: Fri, 12/20/2024
The annual holiday concert on December 20 and 21 is called “Brake for Christmas” which features a collaboration with the Jazz Protagonists with their arranger Barry Brake (TPR Host). The program will begin with a re-written version of And The Glory from Messiah re-arranged by Paul Ayers. A stunning setting of Ubi Caritas by Ola Gjeilo and new jazz arrangements of Angels We Have Heard on High, Silent Night, What Child is This, Carol of the Bells / Wayfaring Stranger. The Jazz Protagonists will present brilliant settings of We Three Kings, Jingle Bells, Good King Wenceslas, O Come Emmanuel and so much more. We are thrilled to have the San Marcos HS Choir under the direction of Dawn Sheridan-Reinhuber and Brigitte Smith-Rolfe joining us.
