Minecraft Creator: Team Design Challenge (1-Day Camp)

Step into a collaborative digital design studio for an action-packed day of architecture, urban planning, and teamwork! In this high-energy 1-day camp, young creators transform from solo players into collaborative engineers as they join forces to plan, build, and bring massive 3D worlds to life. Working in teams, campers tackle real-world design challenges inside Minecraft—whether engineering a bustling metropolis, designing an intricate modern zoo, or constructing a feature-packed amusement park.

Throughout the day, students apply the core engineering design process to take their team’s big ideas from rough concepts to fully realized structures. Guided by practical STEM concepts, campers utilize geometry, spatial reasoning, scale ratios, and resource management to construct balanced, functional environments. Working side-by-side with fellow creators, students practice essential project management skills—delegating roles, managing building timelines, and negotiating design choices in a supportive, collaborative studio setting.

By the end of the day, teams will present their completed multi-structure masterpieces in a guided project showcase for family and friends! Campers leave with hands-on experience in group problem-solving, elevated technical confidence, and a proud sense of collective achievement.
