The New Era of Broadway: Modern Musicals in Motion

Step into the exciting world of today’s Broadway in this immersive, full-day musical theater camp. This program explores the bold sounds, innovative styles, and dynamic storytelling found in modern Broadway productions. Students will train like professional performers, mastering contemporary choreography and exploring modern vocal techniques tailored to the current industry. The curriculum focuses on developing deep character skills and commanding stage presence, helping students build the confidence needed for the spotlight. The week concludes with a dedicated studio showcase on Friday, June 19th, where family members can witness the performers' growth and artistic expression.
Camp Highlights

Contemporary Choreography: Learn the diverse dance styles seen in recent Broadway hits, from hip-hop influences to modern jazz.

Modern Vocal Training: Explore the vocal styles required for today's musical theater repertoire, focusing on technique and storytelling through song.

Essential Information
Daily Attire Dancers should wear all black and white athletic pants, tights, or leggings. Required footwear includes Jazz shoes, Tap shoes, and clean studio sneakers. Character shoes are welcome for those who have them but are not required.
Food and Hydration As this is a full-day program, students must bring a nut-free lunch, a heavy snack, and a reusable water bottle labeled with their name.
Attire and Supplies Professional dance wear can be purchased in the lobby or at the Tutus and Ribbons Boutique. Please ensure all belongings are labeled to help keep our studio organized during the busy summer season.
