Night Hike- Government Canyon State Natural Area

6:30PM – 8:30PM. Participants should be able to hike 3 miles (round trip) over rugged but beautiful trails with some elevation gain. Dress for the weather, wear sturdy shoes. Bring a flashlight, at least a quart of water, and a snack if you like. Meet at the Visitor Center by the Rainwater Harvesting Tower. Reservations required; accepted through noon February 22, 2019. Group size limited to the first 14 who register; open to ages 14 and older; minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian; no pets please. Natural Area entrance fees apply. IMPORTANT INFO: Since this hike begins after hours, be sure to self-register as you enter the Natural Area. Instructions are posted to the right of the Fee Booth. You will need correct change: $6 per adult (13 years or older), or enter your annual Texas State Parks pass number on the appropriate line of the self-pay
