Pack Meeting: How to Go Camping with Children

*The event has already taken place on this date: Thu, 09/04/2025
While kids play two games outside on the theme of Be Prepared (the scout motto), both new and old parents can learn about how we camp as a big group of families. New families may want to ask questions about camping in general or how Cub Scout camping is different from when they camp as a family.

Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.

As the school year starts back up again, we are also taking a fresh start in scouting. While the cubs play two games outside on the theme of Be Prepared (the scout motto), both new and old parents can learn about how we camp as a big group of families. New families may want to ask questions about camping in general or how Cub Scout camping is different from when they camp as a family. Old families will have an opportunity to learn about our new camping roles, which will give adults the opportunity to teach (or learn and then teach) outdoor skills to the cubs as part of a team.
