It can be daunting to lead as parents and determine our child’s readiness for a smartphone, despite frequent requests to have screens at the same time their friends.
While there is a wide curve in learning how to parent through constantly changing technology, our children need family and trusted community to guide them through how to manage having the world at their fingertips. It is critical to ask not only when to introduce these devices, but how to do so well.
Understanding culture, consumerism, and the influence of tech companies are now a basic requirements for smart screen parenting. Fear not. Champion for your child and put safety first when it comes to technology
