Reindeer Game: Creating a computer game that parodies 'Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer'

Ninjas will use Microsoft Makecode Arcade to create a game that is a parody of "Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer" using the mechanics of the “Crossy Road” hopper game (similar to Frogger, for us old folks).

During this 2-hour creator event, your child will get to practice perseverance as they learn to debug lines of code with the goal of helping "grandma" cross the road safely. In addition to a fun and educational afternoon, your child with have the opportunity to connect with other children who share an interest in tech.
This event is open to all ages, though participants must be able to use a keyboard and mouse. This event is limited to 8 students, so register your child today!
