Roblox Creator: Battle Royale (1-Day Camp)
Step into the fast-paced world of game development and build your very own action-packed multiplayer game! In this high-energy 1-day camp, young creators transform from casual players into game developers as they step behind the scenes of Roblox Studio to engineer an intense, last-player-standing Battle Royale arena from scratch.
Throughout the day, campers learn essential game design principles and core computer science logic. Using accessible block coding, students program fundamental gameplay mechanics—including dynamic player spawns, randomized loot drop locations, customized weapon stats, and a shrinking safe-zone ring that forces players into exciting final showdowns. Working alongside fellow creators in a collaborative studio environment, students playtest each other's games, identify bugs, and refine their code to ensure balanced, thrilling gameplay.
By the end of the day, campers will have published a fully functional, custom Battle Royale game ready to play and share with friends and family! Students leave with real hands-on coding experience, elevated creative confidence, and a practical foundation in 3D game design.
