Roblox Editor: Create & Code Your World (5-Day Camp)
Unlock the full potential of game development in this action-packed, week-long studio experience! Designed for young creators eager to move from casual players to confident developers, this 5-day camp takes students deep into the world of 3D game design using the Roblox Editor—the same powerful tool used by professional studios. Across five immersive days, campers will learn environment construction, spatial design, physics, and event-driven block coding as they transform their creative visions into fully interactive virtual experiences.
Throughout the week, students follow an industry-inspired pipeline that mirrors real-world game studios. Campers start by terraforming terrain and building intricate 3D structures, then move on to coding core gameplay mechanics like player spawn points, interactive traps, power-up systems, score counters, and custom obstacle courses (Obbies). Using accessible block coding, campers learn foundational computer science concepts—including variables, loops, conditional logic, and functions—without needing prior text-based programming experience. Working in a collaborative studio setting, students routinely playtest, debug, and refine each other’s projects, building critical problem-solving, logical reasoning, and teamwork skills.
By the end of the camp, students will have built, polished, and published a complete portfolio of custom 3D Roblox games ready to play and share with friends and family worldwide! Campers leave with real-world digital creation skills, elevated technical confidence, and a lasting foundation in modern game development.
