Searching for the best school for your child? Believe it or not, the 2024-2025 school enrollment season is here for San Antonio charter and choice schools! To help families navigate the process, San Antonio Charter Moms hosts its School Discovery Day series, the largest school fair series of its kind in San Antonio. Families will have the opportunity to meet school representatives from more than 25 top San Antonio choice schools, ask questions, get on interest lists and learn about application processes and deadlines. Additionally, families can receive hands-on guidance from the San Antonio Charter Moms team on navigating the nonprofit’s online tools and resources designed to simplify the search and application process.
Participating Schools include The Acorn—A School for Young Children, Anne Frank Inspire Academies, CAST Schools, Colonial Hills United Methodist School, BASIS Charter Schools, Compass Rose Public Schools, Edgewood ISD Schools of Innovation, Essence Prep, Fusion Academy, The Gathering Place, George Gervin Academy, Great Hearts Texas (including Great Hearts Online—Texas), Harmony Public Schools, Henry Ford Academy, IDEA Public Schools, Jubilee Academies, KIPP Texas—San Antonio, Learn4Life Edgewood, Legacy Traditional Schools—Texas, Lighthouse Public Schools, New Frontiers Public Schools, Pre-K 4 SA, Prelude Prep, Promesa Academy, Royal Public Schools, SAISD Choice Schools, San Antonio Catholic Schools, School of Science and Technology (SST), Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran School, Somerset Academy of Texas (formerly Brooks), Southwest Preparatory School and Valor Education.
Hemisfair is a landmark of Downtown San Antonio and offers families the Yanaguana Garden amenities including a splash pad, sand play area, table games, swings, climbing structures, picnic area, restaurants, and more.
