Shelter Helpers Service Club
Brought to you by the San Antonio Humane Society’s Camp Humane program, Shelter Helpers Service Club is a single-day camp experience available to middle and high school students. Go behind-the-scenes to learn more about the shelter, its mission, and what can be done to help some of San Antonio’s most vulnerable pets.
In addition to the most important task of socializing with our pets, campers will have the opportunity to be involved in a variety of service projects, which may include creating pet enrichment, preparing kennels for new arrivals, reading to shelter pets, arts and crafts, and more! Campers will earn up to 5 service hours for their participation in the program, per session.
