Teacher Appreciation Month at San Antonio Zoo

Throughout August, all month long, Texas teachers will receive free admission for San Antonio Zoo and as a bonus 50% off standard admission for up to four (4) guests on the day of their walking visit. To qualify, the teacher must be an active teacher at any school district in the state of Texas, employed by an accredited K-12 public, private, or parochial institution in Texas.

To qualify for the discount, you must be an active teacher in any school district in the state of Texas, employed by an accredited pre-K-12 public, a private, or parochial school in the state of Texas, provide a driver’s license AND the following items at the ticket window:
- Copy of Teachers Certificate
- Paystub from school district/school (public or private school)
- Photo ID/Badge from school district/school
*Teacher MUST be present in order to receive 50% off single-day tickets. Offer is only valid at the front gate during the month of August 2021. Not valid with any other offers, special events, or experiences. Offer cannot be combined with any other offer or discount.
