Veterans Day Hike

Who is Invited:
Hike is open to ages 14 and older. Minors must be accompanied by their parent or legal guardian. No pets please.
Registration & Fees:
Registration is NOT required for this activity, but please arrive a little early. Saturdays can be very busy, and there is often a long line at the Fee Booth.
Though the event is free, all Natural Area entrance fees apply. To save time at the Fee Booth and ensure entrance on crowded days, please pre-purchase and PRINT OUT a Day Pass.
When & Where to Meet:
Park in Lot A or B, and meet at the Visitor Center, near the Rainwater Tower. Plan to arrive no later than 7:45 AM. The program starts promptly at 8:00 AM.
How to Prepare:
Dress for hiking outdoors. Comfortable, broken-in, shoes/boots, sunscreen, bug spray and a hat recommended. Wear layers that can be added or removed as weather conditions change. Bring at least 2 liters of water per person and snacks.
