Violin: Kids Beginning Orchestra

There is Joy in Creating Music Together! This is an opportunity for young beginner musicians to experience an orchestra style setting while having fun together.

This is an opportunity for young musicians to experience an orchestra style setting. Students will be introduced to basic violin and bow holds, rhythms, and fingerings, and how to play some simple tunes in a collaborative group setting. SKILL DEVELOPMENT INCLUDES: How to hold the instrument and bow; Proper technique; Care and maintenance; Intro to Basic Music Theory; Team Building; Age appropriate cognitive and motor skills.
Ages 8 - 12 . $240 – 8-week session (1x per week)
Provide your own instrument.
NO registration fee required.
January 6 – February 24, 2021
Wednesdays 5:30 - 6:15pm
45 minute sessions . outdoors weather permitting
