Virtual Event: Animated Animal Masks: Fun Art Class for Kids 6 and Up!

Kids ages 6 and up will love making Animated Animal Masks with artist Julie Boada!
Let your imagination soar, as you get ready to celebrate Halloween in style! Create a mask of your favorite animal, a mask that rests on your head and is “all the better to see you with, my dear!” Use recyclable materials to add interest or special features to your animal mask. In this class, you learn how to sculpt with newspaper and to reimagine objects as features on your mask or as decorative elements.

Julie is an Anishinabe artist, storyteller, puppeteer and arts educator. She has worked regionally and nationally for the past 25 years, with In the Heart of the Beast Puppet and Mask Theatre, The Little Coyote Puppet Theater, and others. You won't want to miss her fun and engaging teaching style!
