Every day is an adventure at Witte Museum Camp! Children ages 6-12 are invited to join our team of educators as we discover all that the Witte Museum has to offer. With a wide range of themes and camps occurring throughout the year, there is something for everyone! Explore our offerings below and contact Camp@WitteMuseum.org with any questions.

| Want to have the thyme of your life learning how to cook? Join us at the H-E-B Body Adventure in the Children’s Hospital of San Antonio kitchen this summer as we explore different ingredients to create delicious meals and snacks. Get the opportunity to use different methods of cooking as we prepare a variety of recipes. Wrap up the week with a Witte inspired cooking challenge! | Pick up the tools of a paleontologist and discover just how much work goes into uncovering the ancient past and answer the question of what those discoveries can teach us about the prehistoric world. In this week-long camp, explore major discoveries in the field of Paleontology and acquire the skills you’ll need to make some discoveries of your own. |

Experience the wonders of the Witte as we explore as many different sciences as we can! Practice your science skills and become an expert scientist as we explore physics, chemistry, geology and much more. What will you discover? |

| What does it take to become a chef? Learn to chop, dice and slice like a real chef as we dive into the world of cooking. From cooking to cleaning to writing recipes, we will explore all the qualities a chef has in the kitchen. Get the opportunity to create your very own meal each day as we look into familiar and unfamiliar recipes of Texas. Witte Museum Camp Safety Updates:
With the health and safety of our campers, their families, and our team in mind, we will be implementing the following safety procedures for camp to maintain CDC and TDH guidelines during the COVID-19 pandemic:
- Campers will be asked to wear a face covering during the duration of camp, except when eating or drinking. During times of outdoor exploration, we will provide opportunities for physically distanced “mask breaks.”
- Temperature checks will be done upon arrival to camp for both staff and campers. Anyone with a fever over 100°F will be asked to stay home for the day.
- In-person camp is limited to 8 campers or less per age group with 1-2 instructors present at a time.
- Our indoor camp space is set up so campers can physically distance from one another. Each camper will have their own small table and supplies.
- Activities will take place outdoors as the weather allows.
- We will be taking breaks for handwashing and will be cleaning our classroom space as frequently as necessary to maintain a safe environment for our campers.
