Zipp Family Sports Park Community Grand Opening
Join the City of New Braunfels for the Grand Opening celebration of Zipp Family Sports Park, a new multi-sport recreational complex designed for community play and youth sports!

This free community event will include games, activities, music, competitions, exhibitors, and family-friendly fun throughout the day.
Schedule of Events:
- 8:30am – Free 3K Run/Walk hosted by the New Braunfels Running Club. Register for the Run Walk here
- 9:30am – Exhibitors open, ongoing games and activities begin, DJ music starts
- 10:00am – Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
- 11:00am – Major League Baseball Pitch, Hit & Run competition begins. Register for the Pitch & Run here
- 12:00pm – Soccer Shootouts begin
- 1:00pm – Event concludes
Kids ages 14 and under are invited to participate in the free MLB Pitch, Hit & Run competition showcasing baseball and softball skills.
