Boerne Family YMCA 15th Annual Turkey Trot 5K & 10K

Saturday, November 21, 2026. The 15th Annual 5k/10k Turkey Trot takes place on a scenic city run. It starts on the west side of the Main Plaza in Boerne, TX and runs through paved and quiet neighborhoods. This is a competitively timed 5K/10K race, with recognition for the winners (see below) as well as a Finisher Medal to all runners and 1 mile trail walk participants.

Downtown Spooktacular 2026

Downtown Spooktacular offers safe Trick-or-Treating for kids! Join us on the streets of downtown New Braunfels for this exciting event. Downtown businesses, along with the New Braunfels Police and Fire Departments, the Solid Waste & Recycling Division, and other City departments and community partners, will be handing out treats at stops throughout downtown. Mariposas on the Plaza

Tradition says that the butterflies that migrate through in the Fall and during the festival of Dia de los Muertos are the souls of departed loved ones returning to greet and bless those they left behind. Join us on the evening of Sunday, November 1 to celebrate the memory and joy of the love that remains. You can dedicate a butterfly to your loved ones and we’ll adorn the trees on Main Plaza with your mariposa. Sweet treats, acoustic music, and the glow of the cathedral and twinkling lights will make for a beautiful, and contemplative evening. We hope you will stop by.
