Earth Day 2026

Join us for the Annual New Braunfels Community Earth Day & Arbor Day Celebration held at the Headwaters at the Comal! The City of New Braunfels, in partnership with Headwaters at the Comal, will be giving away 1,000+ one-gallon native Texas trees and educating participants about the importance of trees and conservation efforts in our community. The City is also celebrating 38 years of membership in the Tree City USA program. Members of Tree City USA have all committed to protecting trees in their community, both economically and administratively, with community tree ordinances and a division within the Parks Department dedicated solely to the maintenance and preservation of the city's trees.

Earth Day - Party for The Planet

Fiesta Oyster Bake

For a third of San Antonio’s history, the Oyster Bake has been part of the fabric of the community. What started as a St. Mary’s University alumni gathering with a handful of people in 1916 on the banks of the San Antonio river downtown has grown to a premier Fiesta San Antonio event with over 70,000 patrons and more than 7,000 volunteers.

Fiesta Arts Fair

Fiesta Arts Fair started as a small fair in 1973, it has grown into a highlight of the annual Fiesta San Antonio ® celebration, with an annual attendance of approximately 12,000 people. This family-friendly, two-day event is held on the UT San Antonio Southwest historic campus. Fiesta Arts Fair features contemporary art from more than 100 artists from across the U.S., Fiesta favorite foods, drinks, live music by local and regional performers, and a Young Artists Garden providing opportunities for budding artists to learn, explore, and express their creativity!

Fiesta de los Niños

Join us at the Boeing Center at Tech Port for the most technologically advanced and out-of-this-world Fiesta celebration in town! Fiesta de los Niños will offer many of your favorite Fiesta traditions but come ready to explore future technologies that will be showcased inside the San Antonio Museum of Science and Technology’s AREA 21 inspiration center! Kids and adults alike will be fascinated by the kid-friendly, hands-on activities centered around community’s thriving technologies: cybersecurity, aviation, space exploration, robotics, and a whole lot more. Also, make sure to take part in friendly gaming and esports competitions in our Tech Port LAN Gaming Center! Port San Antonio, the San Antonio Museum of Science and Technology (SAMSAT) and partners from the community will host an array of technology demonstrations and hands-on activities for all ages. These will include video gaming, cybersecurity, robotics, virtual reality, aerospace technology and more.
