The Aquarelles Synchro Club is a new synchronized swimming program! We are a non-profit organization ran by trained coaches to develop swimmers in their synchro skills, coordination, strength, and team building. It's swimming and dancing in one!

Do you like to swim and love to dance?!

Synchronized swimming may just be the sport for you!

The Aquarelles Synchro Club is a new synchronized swimming program established in San Antonio. We are a non-profit organization ran by trained coaches to develop swimmers in their synchro skills, coordination, strength, and team building. We embrace the 3 core values of respect, team spirit, and self-confidence. Our mission is to empower kids and adults to be passionate and confident in life through synchronized swimming.

Anyone from 5 years old and up that is looking for a fun new challenge can join. If you like to work in a team and put on a show, this might be the sport for you.

If you have participated in gymnastics, swimming, dance, diving, or cheerleading these serve as a great background for synchronized swimming.

If you don’t have swimming experience, don’t worry, our program includes teaching basic swimming skills.

Our team will be grouped by age and swimming abilities. In these groups you will practice 2 to 3 times a week to work on specific skills. Flexibility, technical figures, and rhythm will all be put together in a routine that will be shown at the end of the season.

Coaches expect swimmers to come to practice ready to work hard as a teammate with a positive attitude. You will need a competitive swimsuit, a nose clip, swim cap and goggles. You can find them at any sports shop.

Routines consist of Teams (4-8 people), Duets and Solos. Duets and solos are optional and individual training times. There are different levels in USA synchro that lead to multiple competition categories from Novice to Junior Olympic level. As a starting program, The Aquarelles will be entering competitive teams for the 2015-2016 season.
