DIY Family Workshop: Break It & Remake It
*The event has already taken place on this date: Sun, 09/27/2020
This fall, kids and grown-ups alike are taking a deep dive into technology! As you log into classes on the computer, click through channels with the remote or listen to a song on a cell phone, have you ever wondered what makes all this tech tick? In this workshop, families will develop a greater understanding of how common electronics are constructed by taking them apart and exploring the parts and pieces that compose them. We will explore how electrical circuits work and discover the complexities of our machines as we deconstruct recycled computer parts. Finally, we will reimagine how the parts can work together to create an original family artwork out of our recycled technology!
