This year, the two-day event is comprised of a Youth Matinee, Dance Showcase, Master Classes, and an all-star Grand Performance.

The Showcase is open to dancers ages 7 and up across all genres, including ballet, contemporary, modern, jazz, hip-hop and flamenco, and we are excited to welcome dance ensemble groups and soloists from San Antonio, TX and neighboring cities. The Showcase will be held at the Carver Community Cultural Center, April 19, 2024, at 7:00 p.m.

The Grand Performance features local, state, national and international dancers and companies. This is a unique event to San Antonio as it attracts critically acclaimed talent from around the world to share their artistry with the local community. Invited guests include ARCOS Dance Company, Austin, TX; Ballet de Monterrey, Monterrey, MX; Cincinnati Ballet Principal Rafael Quenedit & Soloist Katherine Ochoa, Cincinnati, OH; Hybrido, MX; and Sumangala Varun, Austin, TX; Equally important are the local artists who will grace the stage, demonstrating the depth of talent within our community. Among them are Crysta Caulkins, Felicia McBride, Sarah Stark Reed, Krysteen Villarreal, Aza Gonzalez, SumRset Movement directed by Tanesha Payne, Violeta De Leon with her collaboration piece with the University of the Incarnate Word Music Department, and San Antonio Dance Company with Guest Artists Abigail Davis and Ballet San Antonio Company members: Jay Markov, and Aiden Moss. Featuring an original composition by renowned local artist Federico Chávez-Blanco, the Grand Performance is scheduled for April 20, 2024, at 7:30 p.m. at the Carver Community Cultural Center.
