The Young Women's Leadership Academy: Primary is San Antonio's first all-girls, K-5, tuition-free, public school. With special focuses on science, technology, engineering, the arts, and math (STEAM), social-emotional learning, and leadership, YWLA Primary is a school where every little girl is a leader. Inspired by the nationally-recognized Young Women's Leadership Academy (YWLA), YWLA Primary will open in August of 2019 with grades kinder and first before phasing in a grade level every year thereafter.
