The DoSeum is proud to reintroduce “Uniquely Us: Understanding Race and Building Unity,” a thoughtfully designed, hands-on exhibition for learners of all ages. Expanding on the original exhibit from January 2022, Uniquely Us explores concepts like race and unity in a way every learner can understand. The exhibition celebrates each of our unique identities and encourages social cohesion through empathy and the quality of our relationships. It is never too early to talk about who we are, how we experience the world around us, and the ways experiences differ from person to person. The DoSeum is uniquely equipped to support families ready to take on these tough topics. This interactive exhibit uses play-based learning, enabling children to safely and empathetically explore new ideas, perspectives, and social roles.

Register your young entrepreneurs for our farmers market run entirely by kids! Kids ages 5-17 can get a 10x10 booth for $25 which includes a t-shirt, book, and free digital entrepreneurship curriculum! Join us Sunday, April 27 from 10:00am-5:00pm at the Texas Alamo Aloha Fiestaval!

In this class, we will be inspired by art created by Vincent Van Gogh, Claude Monet, Henry Matisse and Pablo Picasso. We will recreate famous works of art like Van Gogh’s Sunflowers, Monet’s Water Lilies, Matisse’s The Flight of Icarus and many others, all on real canvas boards.
